The Saurus Scar-Veteran

Introduction

Our Scar-Vet is one of the toughest hero choices in the warhammer world. With the ability to tailor him to perform different roles, he is a valuable asset to any army list. But, with so many options available, what should you be giving your hero?

Below I will go through some popular and some more un-orthodox Scar-Vet combinations, and give a brief explanation of what each build would bring to your list. Each is listed with the extra items they have been given, followed by a short list of notes on the combination.

These combinations (or builds as they are sometimes called), are not stead fast law. You don't have to take all the items listed. For example, if you don't want to take the spawning of Quetzl, you don't have to. You can tweak these builds to match what is needed for your army. The combinations listed are what I feel are the strongest combinations available, and most of the time they use up the entire magic point item allowance.

Note: Unless stated otherwise, all of these Scar-Vet builds have light armour on as standard (+1 to your save for 2pts is a good thing) and also come with a shield (unless armed with a magical shield, in which case the mundane shield won't be included). Spawnings are listed just by name.
