The Oldblood - The Obvious Fighting Option

Introduction
Based on my article on various scar-vet builds, I thought I’d go onto to talking about the different combinations that our best fighting character, the oldblood, can have.
Before I go onto the talking about the different build options, I think we should look at why you should be taking an oldblood over other character choices, and what different types of mounts the big guy can use.
Note: Unless stated otherwise, all of these Oldblood builds should be given light armour on as standard (+1 to your save for 2pts is a good thing) and also come with a shield (unless armed with a magical shield, in which case the mundane shield won’t be needed). Spawnings are listed just by name.
Note: Where I have said “Ward Save”, I’m referring to the Aura of Quetzl or Glyph necklace. In most cases its personal preference on which item to take.
Note: Builds most suited for riding the coldone are listed CO, and carnosaur as CA. The points are calculated with the mount included.
